The first software I ever shipped ran inside a Formula Student race car, operating under real racing conditions at speeds of up to 70 km/h. As Vehicle Systems and Telemetry Lead for DJS Racing, I designed and tested real-time vehicle systems that contributed to the team earning the Best Designed Car award at Formula Bharat. Also participated in Formula Student Germany and Formula Student Austria
During Formula Student Germany, I witnessed an autonomous race car in action for the first time. That experience sparked a lasting interest in autonomous systems and robotics. To pursue this direction, I joined Jindal Mobilitrics, where I developed embedded firmware and real-time control systems for electric vehicle platforms, building a strong foundation in embedded engineering.
To deepen my expertise, I pursued a Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. My academic work focused on computer vision, deep learning, and path planning.
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer in R&D at Cognex, with over seven years of experience in C and C++ systems development. My work centers on building software and developer tools for industrial machine vision systems—the technologies that enable machines and factories to interpret visual data. I contribute across the full developer experience, including cross-platform SDKs that unify 2D, 3D, and AI-based vision tools, remote diagnostics platforms for field debugging of embedded systems, and CI/CD pipelines that ensure reliable software delivery.
Across these experiences, I’ve been drawn to building intelligent systems at the intersection of AI, robotics, and embedded engineering, where software can interact with the physical world and solve meaningful real-world problems.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and Ultimate Frisbee, and I have twice won the Cognex Ultimate Frisbee tournament.
